What is Street Soccer

These are not coaching sessions and are the only Accademy Soccer session which do not need to be pre-booked. You may have seen recently in the press the concern of many coaches, to the damaging effects to the development of young players within the 7 v 7 structure with a win at all costs attitude (checkout Give us back our game on the following link http://s181210699.websitehome.co.uk/).

Street Soccer aims to provide a safe environment playing 4 v 4 (meaning more touches on the ball), with no adult intervention. It is their game, they make the rules, they referee it and learn as a group through self discovery, just as we did through our games in the street. Unfortunately the world is a different place now, with increased traffic etc there are an ever increasing shortage of safe areas that give us as parent’s peace of mind to allow our children to play in this way.
